Van Holland Stroopwafels

A small counter on Kalverstraat pressing stroopwafels to order: two thin, crisp wafers with a layer of sticky caramel syrup in between, straight off the iron.

One of Holland's great sweet treats, and the easiest fix for the munchies on a walk through the centre.
