Reefer

Reefer is on Sint Antoniesbreestraat, directly across from the Rembrandt House Museum and close to the Waterlooplein market. The sign is small and easy to miss. Before it became Reefer, the shop traded as The Bulldog Bananas, Sunny Corner and Nice Dreams.

The shop is split over two levels: a few steps down to the bar, which sits just below pavement level, and a steep stair up to a seating room with big windows over the street. The décor stands out, with a large chandelier, murals and a decorative tree on the walls.

Visitors mention friendly staff who weigh your purchase in front of you and let you smell it first, and a good choice of weed and hash at fair prices. A 2025 review notes that smoking with tobacco is allowed inside. Opening hours vary between sources, so check before you go.
